Field and Camp Craft

Teamwork

Cadets work in groups to complete tasks and activities to achieve goals and targets. Teamwork skills are crucial for life in the RAFAC as well as personal life. Learn how to become a key player in a team and support each other to succeed.

History of Flight and the RAF

Cadets complete syllabus training and learning which underpins great experiences within the Air Cadets. This includes subjects such as Principles of Flight, Air Navigation and Military Systems. As Cadets progress through the squadron, they earn the right to teach these subjects and support fellow cadets with their development. Skills which ignite enjoyment of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects and fuel careers in amazing industries.

All Cadets in the RAFAC learn about the history of the Air Cadets and the Royal Air Force. Including its role, operations and development of aircraft since 1918. Cadets also learn about the engineering and physics of flight and aircraft design. Demonstrated through activities and flight sim training.
